The Tropical Landscape and Climate Program (TLC), including the Loma Linda Field Station, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through tropicallandscapes.org and how we use it.

Information we collect:

• Contact and inquiry forms: your name, email address, and message.

• Course and webinar registrations and applications: your name, contact details, affiliation, and, for field workshops, dietary and medical information needed for your safety and logistics.

• Donations and course payments: processed by Givebutter. We receive your name, email, and gift or payment details, but we never see or store your full card number.

• Site usage: our website host, Wix, uses cookies to collect anonymous statistics, such as pages visited, to help us improve the site.

How we use it:
 

We use your information only to respond to inquiries, run our courses and webinars, process donations and send tax receipts, and keep in touch about our work. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Services we use
 

We rely on trusted providers to run our programs: Wix (website and forms), Givebutter (donations and registrations), and Zoom (webinars). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Medical and dietary information
 

We share health and dietary information only with the staff responsible for your safety during a field program, and we delete it after the program ends.
